Amy Chin comes from a family of artists, her mother is a painter, her grandfather a professor of photography, and her sister is a jewelry designer. Growing up in a tiny New England town where she would sometimes ride horses to school, Amy has vivid memories of going to flea markets as a child, where her mother would compose photographs of distinct objects to later turn into paintings. Inspired, Amy went to study art history, curatorial studies and dance at Bard College. She has been working as a prop stylist and set designer in New York City for the past 7 years.
